The Mac will need to restart to complete the process and will automatically boot into Windows 10 when it's done. If you install Paragon, Mac OS X can read/write to NTFS, as well.
In Disk Management, you’ll see your external hard drive as partition or unallocated space. Open the Disk Management tool by right-clicking This PC -> Manage -> Disk Management. Connect your external hard drive to your Windows 10 PC. Follow the prompts to finish installing Windows. For simple file transfers, just use a USB flash drive, formatted as FAT32.
